HOT 102.7FM will once again be hosting its annual fundraiser, the Teddython, to ensure Hot Cares can continue making a meaningful difference to the lives of those around us.

This year the Teddython will be held on Thursday the 26th of October at Papachinos in Broadacres, where HOT 102.7FM will be broadcasting live from 06h00 to 18h30. The presenters and the entire HOT team will be manning phone lines, taking donations from individuals and companies in the form of financial, products and services, participating in challenges, and completing a variety of fun stunts, all for a good cause.

The Teddython is a key event on the HOT 102.7FM calendar, providing Johannesburg’s newest commercial radio station with the opportunity to raise the much-needed funds for Hot Cares to continue to uplift the community and make an impact within their four areas of focus: Humanitarian and Welfare, Medical, Education and Animal Welfare.

Last year a whopping R8.9 million was raised in just 12 hours at the Teddython and sights have been set high for 2023, with HOT 102.7FM aiming to raise R10 million this year!

Hot Cares is a registered non-profit company, with Public Benefit Organisation (PBO) status. Section 18A certificates may be issued for all financial and product donations.
