 The radio studio is his happy place and even though he’s done his 10,000 hours, Parky still absolutely loves getting behind the mic every day, and that’s why you’ll always find him with a smile on his face in the studio, singing along, badly and with the wrong words, to Joburg’s Best Old Skool and R&B – probably Don McLean’s American Pie or any Michael Jackson song. He’s also quick with a corny joke and a trip down memory lane, but just don’t ask him to make tea……he’ll stuff it up. Out of the studio, you’ll find this proud former Zimbo and married father of two out on a run or with a beer in his hand and scoffing a plate of Skordalia, cheering on his beloved Man United………
