She’s back, darling — and she’s got both hips and humour fully intact! Fans of the HOT 1027 Breakfast Show were treated to a surprise visit from none other than Maureen Lipschitz of Lipschitz Properties, in a side-splitting parody call that had Simon and Bunny in stitches.

After what she dramatically referred to as a “brief hospital stay” following a tragic encounter with AstroTurf and a For Sale sign, Maureen proudly announced that she’s back on her feet — quite literally — thanks to a very “innovative” doctor who apparently used part of a property sign in her hip replacement. Only Maureen could turn orthopaedic surgery into a real estate triumph.

Of course, it wouldn’t be a Maureen call without a little competitive spirit. Between name-dropping her string of Best of awards — from Houghton to Westcliff — and taking a not-so-subtle jab at the late Pam Golding and rival agent “Helen Mellon,” Maureen made it clear she’s still the reigning queen of property, both in Johannesburg and her new coastal kingdom.

She even managed to slip in an invite for Simon to join her at the Beacon Isle for “a stunning BCO and a lovely curry,” proving once again that no one networks quite like Maureen.
