Speaking about her early days with Sonny Bono, Cher recalls the pivotal moment that set their career on a completely different path. It came from British TV producer Jack Good, who saw something special in the pair — something America hadn’t quite recognised yet.
“We couldn’t have become famous if we hadn’t come here… he told us, ‘sell everything you have and go to England.’”
