Let’s Rock Festival brings 80s nostalgia to Marks Park
Not even the grey skies and steady drizzle could put a damper on the retro magic that unfolded at Marks Park in Emmarentia on Saturday. The much-anticipated Let’s Rock Festival, powered by HOT 102.7FM and brought to South Africa by Breakout Events, delivered everything it promised – and more!
Thousands of music lovers braved the overcast weather to experience a day of pure 80s nostalgia. Despite the rain, the atmosphere was electric, with fans dancing in their ponchos and revelling in the feel-good music that defined a generation.
Unforgettable Performances at Marks Park
The lineup was nothing short of iconic, as HOT 1027 Breakfast recalled from the weekend. Brent Harris and Thee Jam set the stage alight early on, getting the crowd moving despite the damp conditions.
