This August, the South African Guide-Dogs Association for the Blind (GDA) invites you to join their Litter Legends Programme — a month-long fundraising and awareness drive to support the training of Assistance Dogs across the country.

The campaign, which includes International Assistance Dog Week (3 – 9 August), aims to raise R250,000 to fund the care and development of the N-Litter — a group of specially bred puppies who will go on to become life-changing Guide, Service, and Autism Support Dogs. These dogs are not just companions — they are heroes who changes the lives of people with disabilities to lead fuller, more independent lives.

From helping a child with autism feel calm and secure, to guiding someone who is visually impaired safely across the street, these dogs become true heroes. But they need heroes like you to get there.

Your donation will directly support food, vet care, training gear, and expert instruction. Most importantly, it ensures that our services remain free for those who need them most.
