For the first time in radio history, HOT1027 has stepped into the world of soap operas — and the result is as dramatic, outrageous, and hilarious as you’d expect.

It all started when our news team put together a montage celebrating the 38th anniversary of The Bold & the Beautiful. That sparked an ambitious idea: why not create our very own soapie, starring our old skool presenters? The challenge? To write, shoot, and finish it all in just one day.

Armed with nothing more than office props, extra lights, and a hastily written script, DJs and news anchors were transformed into “budget thespians.” A director took pity on us, local soap stars wished us luck, and chaos quickly turned into comedy gold.

The result is The Old & the Beautiful — a one-off parody filled with dramatic stares, shocking twists, evil twins, runaway brides, and more cheese than a buffet table.
