HOT 102.7FM is turning the page on an exciting new chapter — and you’re invited along for every step of the journey. The HOT House of Fun is the transformation of our brand-new home, taking an almost derelict shell and turning it into a colourful, vibrant headquarters for South Africa’s Radio Station of the Year.

This live blog will track the entire makeover in real time — from bare walls and dust-covered floors to a fully realised creative space built for music, stories, laughter and connection. What stands here now as an empty structure will soon become the beating heart of HOT 102.7FM, a home designed to reflect the bold personality, energy and warmth our listeners know and love.

Flooring is the very first step in bringing this space to life, and that’s where partners CTM come in. From tiles and laminates to textures and finishes, the surfaces beneath our feet will set the tone for every studio, corridor and creative corner to follow.

As the build progresses, additional partners will join the project as walling, broadcast studios, function spaces and offices are designed and created — each playing a vital role in shaping the future home of HOT 102.7FM.
