Johannesburg, this is not your average concert. This is the kind of line-up that makes you double-check your calendar… and then clear your entire day.
The brand-new Now Now Festival is landing at Marks Park on Saturday, 9 May 2026 — and it’s shaping up to be one of the biggest celebrations of classic hits Joburg has seen in years.
Let’s start local — because South Africa is showing up strong.
Prime Circle lead the charge, marking 25 years of hits that still hit just as hard today. Expect everything from “Hello” to “Live This Life” — the kind of songs that instantly take you back.
Then there’s Arno Carstens — a legend in his own right, bringing that unmistakable voice and stage presence that’s kept fans hooked for decades.
And for something a little different? Absinthè — a powerhouse collaboration featuring icons from Wonderboom and Sugardrive. Think nostalgia, energy, and a set that’s going to surprise you.
But that’s just the warm-up.
Headlining the night are the global legends, The Human League — the pioneers of synth-pop and the voices behind some of the biggest anthems of the ’80s. When “Don’t You Want Me” drops, you already know what’s coming: hands in the air, full crowd sing-along, no holding back.
They’re joined by Blancmange, bringing their cult new-wave sound and serious retro vibes to the stage.
The result? A perfectly curated mix of global icons and homegrown legends — all in one place, all in one unforgettable day.
